27. Baltimore Ravens: Minnesota WR Rashod Bateman

Now that the Baltimore Ravens have two picks in the late first round, there aren’t any more excuses for them to keep trotting out a below-average receiving core. They need to spend one of these picks on a wide receiver, and at No. 27, Minnesota’s Rashod Bateman provides excellent value.

Bateman personally reminds me a little bit of Stefon Diggs, and in light of his updated pro day measurements, that comparison makes even more sense. He’s a great athlete, but beyond that, he’s also a technician as a route runner, and a reliable player at the catch point. He’s exactly what the Ravens need to boost the floor of their pass catching core.
