14. Denver Broncos (via MIN): Penn State LB Micah Parsons

The Broncos traded back to No. 14 after the Vikings called to move up for Penei Sewell. Now, sitting at No. 14, the Broncos can look at the value present. Since they were unable to come away with a quarterback, they’ll have to instead move forward with Drew Lock, and try to solidify the defense. Here, Micah Parsons makes a lot of sense.

Denver has needs at linebacker and edge, and Parsons is a player who can fill both of them. Standing at around 6-foot-3, 246 pounds, Parsons is an elite athlete. He flies around the box and can sear into the backfield in an instant, and he also has immense coverage upside. Furthermore, Parsons played EDGE in high school, so he’s already an advanced pass rusher with scary blitzing potential.

There is a chance Parsons drops to the Washington Football Team due to character concerns. If I were the Washington Football Team, I wouldn’t trade up for him. But if he drops to the Washington Football Team’s pick, he’d be hard to pass up.
