10. Dallas Cowboys: South Carolina CB Jaycee Horn

This is one of those team-prospect matches that I’ve gravitated to for around three months now. The Dallas Cowboys drastically need more talent at cornerback, and they have an interesting choice at No. 10 between Patrick Surtain II and Jaycee Horn. Some like Surtain more, but I have Horn as my CB1. Thus, the choice is easy.

Horn is an elite athlete with an elite competitive fire to his game. He has astounding length and click-and-close ability. For Dallas, he’d already be a terror in man coverage, and he has the explosiveness, range, and fearless aggression to make plays in zone. Horn would be a menace against the Washington Football Team on day one, as he has a size and athleticism advantage over all of their receivers. And that’s saying something.

If, by any chance, Horn was on the board at No. 19 overall, I would not hesitate to pick him. He would make the Washington Football Team’s secondary — and their defense — elite.
