Washington Football Team Mock Draft: Lower-round trades only
Washington Football Team picks Round 5
Sadarius Hutcherson, Offensive Guard, South Carolina – 6-foot-4, 320 pounds
Sadarius Hutcherson has played several positions along the line during his time as a Gamecock and that experience will serve him well at his next stop. If right guard Brandon Scherff is not retained beyond next year, Hutcherson will have one year of NFL experience and should be able to slide into that job. He has the physical tools to succeed as an interior lineman.
With the recent injury history that Scherff has endured, Hutcherson could be forced into the lineup much sooner than anticipated. He could be ready by mid-season, but any sooner could be a problem. Hutcherson is a solid blocker in the rushing offense and his pass protection skills are adequate, but could use some work.
Other Possible Fifth Round Targets:
Tamorrion Terry, Wide Receiver, Florida St.
Shaun Wade, Cornerback, Ohio St.
Dan Moore, Offensive Tackle, Texas A&M
Ian Book, Quarterback, Notre Dame
Reed Blankenship, Free Safety, Middle Tennessee
Frank Darby, Wide Receiver, Arizona St.
Joshua Kaindoh, Outside Linebacker/Defensive End, Florida St.
Tre McKitty, Tight End, Georgia
Kylin Hill, Running Back, Mississippi St.
