Washington Football Team picks Round 4

Entering the third day of the draft, the Washington Football Team is now loaded with three picks in the fourth round.

Hunter Long, Tight End, Boston College – 6-foot-5, 255 pounds

Don’t let his youthful looks fool you.  Hunter Long is probably a nice person off the field, but he is all business on game day.  He is a better receiver than a blocker, but he can do both quite well.  Long led the nation’s tight ends with 57 receptions in 2020 – a season that was shortened by the medical challenges last year.  He would be a good complement to Logan Thomas.

More from Commanders Draft News

Dylan Moses, Linebacker, Alabama – 6-foot-3, 235 pounds

It almost seems like a crime to think of Dylan Moses as a fourth-round prospect, but he continues to slide in many of the analysts’ forecasts.  If anything, it is an injustice.  If he is available on day three, the Washington Football Team should be running to the podium and secure his services.  He would be a solid addition to the linebackers unit and it is likely Moses would see plenty of action in 2021.

Rhamondre Stevenson, Running Back, Oklahoma – 6-feet, 225 pounds

When the Washington Football Team released running back Bryce Love, it didn’t necessarily signal that one would be taken in the draft.  However, it is widely expected that the Burgundy and Gold will add a running back for depth purposes and to help Antonio Gibson carry the load.

Stevenson’s numbers from 2020 are not indicative of what he is capable of producing.  He was suspended six games for substance abuse and the hope is that he has put the past behind him.

Other Possible Fourth Round Targets:

Austin Watkins, Wide Receiver, Alabama-Birmingham

Monty Rice, Linebacker, Georgia

Jamie Newman, Quarterback, Wake Forest

Caden Stearns, Free Safety, Texas

Davis Mills, Quarterback, Stanford

Charles Snowden, Outside Linebacker, Virginia
