Washington Football Team Specialists

Dustin Hopkins, K (30)

Hopkins struggled some early in 2020 but got things turned around when it mattered.

Best: A return to 2018 when Hopkins made about 90 percent of his kicks.

Worst: Kickers can lose it at any time, but Hopkins has a pretty high floor. Still, reverting to those years surrounding ’18 when he hovered around 80 percent would be disappointing. Especially if one of those misses ends up losing a division game in December.

Tress Way, P (30)

Among the best Washington Football Team players over the past five years.

Best: Gets back to the Pro Bowl.

Worst: All these young whippersnappers like Jack Fox and Jake Bailey push Tress a little farther down the list of elite NFL punters.

OK – those are the current guys on the roster. We’ll see what the next several weeks bring.
