Could the Washington Football Team trade up to No. 4 overall and take their franchise quarterback? That’s the subject of our latest seven-round mock draft.

Before we get started, I want to thank Jacob and the other writers here for holding down the fort. I had a legit pile of schoolwork this week on top of work at other sites, so unfortunately, the Washington Football Team got pushed down the conveyor belt a bit.

That ends this morning, though.

With the recent reports suggesting that Washington might be keen on trading up for a high-upside quarterback like Trey Lance, I wanted to do a seven-round mock draft, not only to explore that possibility and discuss Lance as a prospect, but also to see if Washington could get acceptable returns in the later rounds while trading away picks.

Now, before I use the “without further ado” cliche, without further ado, let’s get into it.
