Washington Football Team’s biggest needs to fill during the 2021 NFL Draft.

We’re now a handful of days into April, and that means that we’re starting to get really close to the 2021 NFL Draft. And this year’s draft is going to be a big one for the Washington Football Team.

While the 2020 NFL Draft was an important one for Washington, it was relatively predictable, at least in terms of what they’d do first. They targeted Chase Young with the No. 2 selection from the get-go, and he turned out to be the Defensive Rookie of the Year.

This year, things aren’t as certain for Washington. They are armed with the 19th overall pick, so what happens in front of them will determine what they’re able to do. They have no shortage of possible directions they could go, but it all depends on how the draft board breaks.

With that said, what we do know about Washington is what they still need. They did a good job in free agency of plugging some holes they had at the receiver spots and cornerback spot, and they even added a stopgap quarterback option.

But there are still some roster weaknesses that they’ll have to address if they want a chance to compete for another NFC East title.

Here’s a look at their five biggest needs remaining to fill and some potential options for them to consider at each slot.
