We’re at a point in 2021 free agency where we can begin to re-evaluate the Washington Football Team’s needs.

The Washington Football Team was presented with an opportunity to improve its roster in March of 2021, and they largely succeeded. They signed skill players Curtis Samuel and William Jackson III, and also solidified their quarterback situation with veteran Ryan Fitzpatrick.

Beyond those primary moves, the Washington Football Team also bolstered the overall depth of their roster. They brought back numerous low-cost in-house free agents, and also signed a few obligatory former Panthers. Nepotism aside, it was a solid FA period for Ron Rivera and company, and soon, the focus will turn to the 2021 NFL Draft.

With the first wave of free agency now in the books, let’s take a look at how the first moves in free agency may have impacted Washington’s board. There aren’t any trades in this one. We just followed along with the Pro Football Network’s big board, and made picks as they came to us.
