Washington Football Team full first-round NFL mock draft: Two first-round picks
By Ian Cummings
The Eagles get the third wide receiver selected, but Ja’Marr Chase is a nice consolation prize. In 2019, Chase had one of the best seasons for a wide receiver in NCAA history, piling up 84 catches for 1,780 yards and 20 scores, en route to a National Championship.
If I’m the Eagles, I would pick Trey Lance or Zach Wilson here. But if they’re truly intent on moving forward with Jalen Hurts, then they need to boost his weapons. Chase helps with that, bringing the athleticism, elite catching instincts, and moxie necessary to set the tone on offense.
