Round 7, Pick 238, RB Pooka Williams, Kansas

Pooka Williams offers some of the same skill-sets as Antonio Gibson, but at 5-foot-9 and 170 pounds, his size is a major concern. He is dynamic with the ball in his hands and can create explosive plays when given the opportunity.

At Kansas, he had two 1,000+ rushing yard seasons in 2018 and 2019, before seeing a drop in production in 2020. He does have some off-the-field concerns which could hurt his draft position, but he could be a good gadget player in Scott Turner’s offense.

Round 7, Pick 243, LB K.J. Britt, Auburn

Both Ken and I have K.J. Britt as a seventh-round selection for Washington, noting the need for the team to bring in more competition among the linebackers.

As Ken pointed out in his analysis, Washington met with Britt at the Senior Bowl. Britt was a starter at middle linebacker for the Tigers and was a team-captain in 2020. He finished his career with 119 tackles with 13 tackles for a loss.

After missing the majority of the 2020 season due to torn ligaments in his thumb, Britt did participate in the Senior Bowl where he made three tackles. He is a competitor but doesn’t project as much more than a special teamer.

Round 7, Pick 245, OT Brenden Jaimes, Nebraska

During his college career, Jaimes set a Nebraska-record with 40 consecutive starts by an offensive lineman. In his senior year, he was part of an offensive line that helped Nebraska finish with the Big Ten’s second-best rushing attack.

He played both left tackle and right tackle during his time with the Cornhuskers, providing some versatility across the offensive line. At 6-foot-6, 300 pounds, he could add some value as a back-up lineman.
