Washington Football Team: Potential free agent TE gems in 2021
Dan Arnold, Arizona Cardinals
After playing wide receiver in college, Arnold went undrafted and signed with the New Orleans Saints, where he eventually switched to tight end. At 6’6″, Arnold poses a match-up challenge to defenders with his large frame.
Last season, he had a career year, finishing with 31 receptions for 438 yards and four touchdowns. He got a first-down on 77% of his catches and had a 120.4 passer rating when targeted.
His ability to pose match-up challenges and his versatility, having played receiver in college, could make him a valuable asset for the Washington Football Team.
