Round 3, Pick 82

Hope you didn’t go too far. We’re back, and the board looks eerily similar to when we last looked at it. A few players were selected, but there’s still a good mix available here:

  • Ole Miss WR Elijah Moore
  • North Carolina WR Dyami Brown
  • UCLA RB/WR Demetric Felton
  • Texas A&M QB Kellen Mond
  • Oklahoma OT Adrian Ealy
  • UCLA DT Osa Odighizuwa
  • Tulane DT Cameron Sample
  • Pittsburgh EDGE Rashad Weaver
  • North Carolina LB Chazz Surratt
  • Florida State S Hamsah Nasirildeen

If you’ve made different picks, go ahead and survey the board. If you’ve followed along with me, then you’ve picked a linebacker, a receiver, and a tight end.

The offensive tackle board isn’t great here. I like Adrian Ealy, but I might get better value later on. I again like the receivers, and Demetric Felton has some fun projected versatility in Scott Turner’s scheme. Hamsah Nasirildeen is also an option, although I’m not sure if he’s the best fit for the Washington Football Team. Washington needs more of a pure free safety, and he’s not that.

I think I’ll go with Ealy here. Even if he isn’t the best value in Round 3, he has incredibly high upside with his size and athleticism, and he played very well during Senior Bowl week. It was between Ealy and Felton for me, but the defensive tackles also got some consideration.

My Pick: Oklahoma OT Adrian Ealy
