The Washington Football Team will be seeking plenty of upgrades to the offense during this offseason.  Free agency can address some of those needs and today’s focus is the offensive line.

When the 2020 NFL regular season arrived, the Washington Football Team immediately realized that one of the weaker units on offense was the offensive line.  Fans were quickly demanding upgrades via free agency, trades, and sniping linemen from practice squads across the league.  As the season progressed, the line improved and while it wasn’t one of the league’s best, it was a serviceable group of veterans.

Free agency will be here in less than a month and Washington may add an offensive lineman or two – possibly a starter and a depth addition.  If the offensive line receives little to no attention in free agency, it is likely the front office will add some linemen via the NFL draft.  It’s also possible that linemen will be added through both options.

We will examine the latest news, reports, and rumors that center on offensive linemen for the Washington Football Team.  It is very likely the Burgundy and Gold will be active during the opening days of free agency due to having a generous salary cap ceiling.  The cap can increase if the front office releases players with inflated contracts or through the process of restructuring.

Today, we will take a look at the talent pool of guards and tackles only.  Center is not a need after Chase Roullier signed a new deal recently.  Just as we have done with the various defensive units, we will list the upper, middle, and lower tiers of available players on the offensive line.  Let’s jump right in!
