How much should the Washington Football Team give up to trade for a QB?

Jimmy Garoppolo, San Francisco 49ers

Just over a year ago, Jimmy Garoppolo entered the fourth quarter of the Super Bowl with his team leading by ten points. Has any 29-year old QB ever fallen so far, so fast? His contract isn’t good. But it’s not so bad that you can’t think about him. It’s basically in the Alex Smith range.

If I’m the Washington Football Team, I’d give up a seventh-round pick for Garoppolo. But I’d probably just wait for San Francisco to cut him.
