Four season-long game balls for the Washington Football Team.

It’s a time-honored tradition when an NFL team celebrates achievements by handing out game balls to deserving players.  The Washington Football Team had four such players who achieved that level of success in 2020.

The season ended abruptly for Washington and the fans wanted at least one victory in the playoffs, but Tampa Bay had other ideas on Saturday night.  The NFC East champions had high hopes for this game and the entire Washington, DC region was ready for an upset.

While the results were disappointing, the season was still a huge success.  We can’t let this playoff loss prevent us from opening the Riggo’s Rag vault one more time as we close out the 2020 season.

Yes, we are going to award four game balls to four players (two on offense and two on defense) as we recognize who had the best impacts during a grueling 17-game schedule, playoffs included.

These four players represent the best of the Washington Football Team and each of them had a memorable season.  The future of this franchise rests in their commitment to the coaches, teammates, and the organization.  They are solid building blocks for success in the coming years.  It is now our honor to present to you the four game ball awards for the 2020 season.
