2. The Reality Is, Washington is built to irritate Tom Brady.

If you were going into a lab to create the perfect defense to bother and irritate Tom Brady, this Washington Football Team defense just might be what you come up with.

Their entire defensive line, including most of the backups, has above-average speed and athleticism. Tom Brady’s worst playoff performances have all come against teams able to apply consistent pressure in his face without blitzing.

Particularly, interior pressure has bothered him. He’s also the only quarterback in the playoffs less mobile than the current iteration of Alex Smith.

Their secondary may not be able to hold up against the prolific and talented passing attack of Tampa Bay. But if they can, even a little bit, it is possible that the defensive line can get him off his game early and often.

My Prediction: Brady won’t look comfortable for the majority of this game.
