1. The Reality Is, Washington is playing with house money.

This team had their head coach battle cancer all season. They were 3-13 last season. They have no General Manager. Their most expensive defensive player was lost for the season after playing poorly most of the first seven weeks of the season.

Washington has played four different quarterbacks and ultimately had to cut their first-round pick from the 2019 draft. They started out the season 1-5 and 2-7. And somehow, they are in the playoffs.

Non-household names like Cornelius Lucas, Jeremy Reaves, Kevin Pierre-Louis, Jon Bostic, Isaiah Wright, and Wes Schweitzer have taken a large percentage of snaps at key positions throughout the season, and somehow, they are in the playoffs.

The Reality Is, this team should be feeling zero pressure leading into their game Saturday Night.

My Prediction: Though Ron Rivera won’t emphasize the lack of pressure they should feel, Washington will come out with all the energy and poise of a young puppy on Saturday. Expect some early mistakes and jitters, but expect the defense to be flying around and the offensive line to be imposing their will early.
