Grading the Washington Football Team’s Week 17 performance vs. Eagles.

Welcome to our look back at Washington’s NFC East championship triumph over the Philadelphia Eagles and a playoff prediction for Saturday’s game against Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Washington Football Team fans are celebrating this week after an opportunity to capture an NFC East title was finally secured on Sunday night.  While it is nice to celebrate this championship, it is also time for the team to quickly turn their focus to the playoff game.

The New York Giants, Dallas Cowboys, and Philadelphia Eagles didn’t make it easy for the Burgundy and Gold to win this division and they are to be congratulated for making it a spirited battle.

According to Tankathon, Washington is currently locked into the 19th overall pick in the 2021 NFL draft and that would trend lower with any playoff victories in the coming days and weeks.  That simply reflects Washington’s status as the division champion.

For now, our focus shifts briefly to the Eagles game with grades and to the present with the Tampa Bay game drawing closer.

Today, we bring you the latest set of grades and we’ll see how the WFT fared against the Eagles.  We’ll also make a prediction for the playoff game.  Santa Claus finally delivered a belated NFC East title and would it be too much to ask for a victory on Saturday?

It’s 2021 now and anything can happen.  Let’s get right to the grades, evaluations, commentary, and what we think may happen Saturday night.
