Positive 2

Chase Young could be on his way to winning defensive rookie of the year honors.  He is already receiving such attention and the former Buckeye will only get a lot better in the coming years.  Pro Football Focus has given him a similar honor as well.

Young had another impactful game on Sunday and led the defense to a second-half shut-out and a division title.  He is our second positive for the week.  Fans of the Washington Football Team better get used to seeing him wreak major havoc against opposing offenses for many years to come.

Negative 2

First half woes continue for the Burgundy and Gold and that problem needs to be solved if they are to advance in the playoffs.  Washington did secure a three-point lead at halftime, but an early 10-0 lead evaporated quickly in the second quarter.

If this team doesn’t compete in all four quarters this coming Saturday night, they will be bounced out of the playoffs.
