Five positives and negatives for Washington Football Team vs. Eagles
Positives and negatives from the Washington Football Team’s Week 17 win over the Eagles.
With an NFC East title to capture if they were victorious, the Washington Football Team won their season finale against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday night. Now, it is on to the playoffs and a home game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Welcome to this week’s edition of the positives/negatives from the Sunday night game vs. the Eagles. This edition is the championship version and it is nice to be talking about an NFC East title.
In early November, the talk centered on the likelihood of securing the second or third overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. What a difference we see some eight weeks later! The season marches on and we’ll see how far it takes us.
Here is another reminder of the changes to the “Five and Five” articles for 2021. When the Washington Football Team wins, we will have “Five Positives” or “Five Positives and Negatives”. It will all depend on the complexion of each game.
When Washington loses, we will have “Five Negatives” (as we saw last week) or “Five Negatives and Positives”. Some games deserve scrutiny from both angles and other games simply can be examined solely in a positive or negative manner. That is the new change and it will be utilized in the playoffs and for the 2021 season.

We’ll briefly talk about five of the negatives from Sunday’s contest vs. the Eagles and how it could affect the upcoming playoff game. Let’s get right to it!
