How to stream the Washington Football Team vs the Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The NFL Playoffs are about to begin. Here’s how to stream the matchup between the Washington Football Team and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers enter the NFL Playoffs as the 5-seed in the NFC, after winning four-straight games to end the season. Of course, they were just six points away from winning six-straight.
Meanwhile, the Washington Football Team, despite owning a 7-9 record, will be hosting on Saturday after winning the NFC East.
How We Got Here
The Washington Football Team leads Tampa Bay 12-11 in the all-time series, but the two teams haven’t played since 2018.
The Buccaneers, led by Tom Brady, have made the playoffs for the first time since 2007. While Tampa’s offense has been rolling, wide receiver Mike Evans might not play on Saturday due to a hyperextended knee.
Defensively, Tampa Bay might be without Shaq Barrett, Steve McClendon and Devin White, who are all on the COVID/reserve list.
While the Buccaneers were red hot coming into the playoffs, the WFT has been stumbling. Washington eked out a win over Philadelphia and fourth-string quarterback Nate Sudfeld to close out the year, but Alex Smith is battling a calf strain.
Speaking of Smith, he’s likely the Comeback Player of the Year. And head coach Ron Rivera, who battled cancer this season, might just be the Coach of the Year. Oh, and don’t forget about monster rookie Chase Young, who is the likely 2020 Defensive Rookie of the Year.
But, Young probably shouldn’t try to get under Brady’s skin.
