Final Thoughts

Here is a list of players who receive an honorable mention this week:  Kamren Curl, Dustin Hopkins, Cole Holcomb, Antonio Gibson, Montez Sweat, Terry McLaurin, and Jonathan Allen.  These players made it a total team victory and the defense was spectacular in the second half.

Washington’s path to the NFC East title was very unorthodox in 2020, but winning enough games and taking the title in any fashion is getting the job done.  Other teams have no reason to complain – take care of your own business and realize that a record of 6-10 or 5-11 is very unlikely to land a playoff slot or a division title.

Washington did what was needed and their season marches on.

It sure would be nice to continue this duty of awarding game balls for another week.  To do so would mean that the Washington Football Team wins their Saturday night playoff game against Tampa Bay, but it is also fun to watch solid Burgundy and Gold football once again after many years of futility.

Next. Three trades that could upgrade WFT's QB position. dark

The Week 17 awards are in the books and we hope to do a playoff edition next week.
