The Washington Football Team must slow down Jalen Hurts to beat the Eagles.

Ten months after extending Carson Wentz on a four-year, $128 million deal with $107 million guaranteed, the Eagles’ selection of Jalen Hurts in the second round left a lot of analysts scratching their heads.

Fast forward eight more months and with Wentz struggling and the Eagles sitting at 3-8-1, Hurts got his opportunity to enter the starting lineup, leading the Eagles to victory over the NFC-powerhouse New Orleans Saints.

With Hurts at the helm, the Eagles have looked energized and despite being eliminated from playoff contention, the team can play spoiler to the Washington Football Team’s playoff aspirations. And Washington needs to be careful if they don’t want to head home having blown a prime opportunity to reach the postseason.
