The Washington Football Team fell to the Carolina Panthers in Week 16, by a score of 20-13.

The defense did a nice job keeping the Carolina offense in check. Despite the easy victory for the Panthers, their offense only scored 13 points, and had the Washington Football Team played better on offense and on special teams, they could have easily competed.

But that brings us to the main topic of the morning: The offense. 2020 has been rife with offensive inconsistency, and in Week 16, that issue came to a head. Dwayne Haskins turned the ball over three times, before being benched for Taylor Heinicke. Now, it’s anyone’s guess who will start in Week 17, tasked with bringing Washington back to the playoffs.

We have plenty to talk about, as it pertains to Washington’s season finale. But first, let’s go over the studs and duds from Washington’s loss to the Panthers. I accept a degree of responsibility, but there were co-conspirators, and there was resistance. Here are the details.
