Week 16 Analysis and Prediction

Week 16: Carolina at Washington

  • Time: Sunday, 12/27, 4:05pm EST

Can the Washington Football Team bounce back after a tough loss last week?  A division title is on the line and a defeat here could put the Giants back into the driver’s seat.

Sunday’s game against Carolina is the most important contest in five years.  A Washington victory could result in a division title.  Carolina would love to pin a loss on their former coach, but Washington has other ideas.

The game remains close until two quick touchdowns halfway through the third quarter give the WFT a firm edge.  The Panthers can’t recover and Washington closes it out in the final quarter with a comfortable margin.

Players who will shine on Sunday include Cam Sims, J.D. McKissic, Logan Thomas, Montez Sweat, Daron Payne, and Jimmy Moreland.

Prediction:  Washington 37  Carolina 21
