The Washington Football Team’s four-game winning streak came to an end, at the hands of the Seahawks, despite a late comeback attempt that fell short.

Going into the game missing Antonio Gibson and Alex Smith on offense and Cole Holcomb and Kevin Pierre-Lewis on defense, it was always going to be an uphill battle for the Washington Football Team against a talented Seahawks team.

In what has become a recurring theme, the team came out flat to start the first half, falling behind early. Down 20-3 heading into the fourth quarter, Washington made it competitive late, scoring 12 straight points, but ultimately fell short on a drive that was plagued by sacks.

During the early phases of the game, this looked like it could become a blowout, but Washington showed resilience and a no-quit mentality, as they have repeatedly done throughout the season, to give themselves an opportunity to win.

Let’s check out some of the key numbers from Sunday’s loss.
