1. The Reality Is, the offensive line has massively outperformed this season.

The offensive line came into this season for Washington as one of the top concerns for the team, depending on who you talked to. But the offensive line, as a unit, has dramatically outperformed expectations. I would even say that position group has become a legitimate strength for this team.

Cornelius Lucas has played admirably at left tackle after replacing the injured Geron Christian, who also outplayed expectations, and the other four current starters (Scherff, Moses, Roullier, and Schweitzer) are all playing somewhere between “quality starter” and “fringe-Pro Bowler” levels.

Give these guys credit for taking to John Matsko’s coaching, and giving the rest of the offense a chance to learn, grow, and develop around them.

My Prediction: This unit won’t be the reason this team loses any games the rest of the season, and will make major contributions to any wins the team pulls off. Look for the interior of the line to open up a lot of holes for the running backs this weekend.
