There’s a famous quote that states, “Success is where preparation and opportunity meet.”

For Washington Football Team quarterback Dwayne Haskins, that opportunity may present itself this Sunday against Seattle, and the world will get a chance to see how well he has been preparing for this moment.

When Dwayne Haskins was benched, a lot of the fanbase was upset. Some said Coach Rivera didn’t give Haskins enough time to develop. Others questioned Rivera when he said that he had to do what’s in the best interest of the team as they had an opportunity to make the playoffs.

At the time of Haskins’ benching, that sounded like a pipe dream. Now, here we are ten weeks later in sole possession of first place in the NFC East. I think Rivera may have known what he was talking about.

Alex Smith got us to this position of playoff contention, but now it may come down to Haskins to secure that playoff spot. Will he be able to do it?
