Week 15 analysis and prediction

Week 15: Seattle at Washington

  • Site: FedEx Field, Landover, MD
  • Time: Sunday, 12/20, 1 p.m. ET

Returning home after a very long three-game road trip, Washington faces a very tough Seattle Seahawks organization.  The Seahawks are hoping to return to the Super Bowl after a bitter loss to the New England Patriots many years ago.  Washington is just another team in their journey, but the WFT is not a pushover.

Can Washington enjoy a triumphant return to FedEx Field?  Is a fifth straight victory going to materialize?  The WFT has obviously played well of late, but this game will be another tough task as they continue on an adventure that could end with a division title.

Washington keeps it close in the first 45 minutes and enters the final quarter in a tie with the Seahawks.  A mid-fourth quarter Russell Wilson touchdown pass gives the Seahawks a lead.  Washington boots a 45-yard field goal with three minutes to go, but never sees the ball again.

Players who will shine on Sunday include Terry McLaurin, Peyton Barber, Alex Smith, Steven Sims, Montez Sweat, Chase Young, and Ronald Darby.

Prediction:  Seahawks 27, Washington 23

Personal Record: 5-8
