No. 8 – LG Wes Martin

This ranking has stayed the same all year. Wes Martin is still young, so he is not a lost cause. But, as of now, he has performed like one of the worst guards in the NFL.

Martin has been relegated to the bench for Wes Schweitzer, and received limited snaps against both the Cowboys and the Steelers. Against the Steelers, after he replaced Brandon Scherff for an inury, the drop-off was clear. He still lacks the proper strength, base, and fundamentals to hold up against the best of the NFL.

It is night and day between him and Scherff. The Steelers showed that. To put it bluntly, Wes Martin has been less than ideal this year. Luckily, another Wes (spoiler alert) makes this a little less painful.
