Bold predictions for the Washington Football Team vs. 49ers in Week 14.

The Washington Football Team has won three consecutive games. They have a 5-7 record and are tied for first place in the NFC East. They are just a game out of a Wild Card spot in the NFC.

And in back-to-back weeks, Washington has beaten the Cowboys in Dallas on Thanksgiving and they’ve knocked off the undefeated Steelers in Pittsburgh. That’s not easy to do, and it represents one of the most impressive two-game stretches Washington has put together this century.

Ron Rivera and his coaching staff deserve credit for the in-season turnaround they have been able to make. This Washington team was supposed to be rebuilding and while they are benefitting from an unusually weak NFC East, the team’s improvement has, nonetheless, been impressive.

Now, Washington will get another big test. They are going on the road to take on the 49ers team that has a strong defense, some good offensive weapons, and a solid coaching staff. The pressure is on as they look to keep pace with the Giants in the division, or overtake them, and the 49ers will be a good test of this young team’s will to win.

This is Washington’s third consecutive road game and it’s a chance for them to go on a four-game winning streak. The 49ers will fight hard though, as they’re in the playoff hunt, and this should be a very good game. Here are five bold predictions for the contest.
