Reality checks for Washington football Team vs. Steelers.

Historically, playing the Pittsburgh Steelers has not gone well for the Washington Football Team. Additionally, playing on Monday has not gone well for the good ‘ol Burgundy and Gold.

But could this Washington team be poised to break out of those patterns?

Oddsmakers believe Washington has little to no chance to beat Pittsburgh. On paper, the talent gap between these two teams is massive. And the organizational stability gap is even bigger.

Washington has more head coaches in the last two seasons than Pittsburgh has had in the last 25. Pittsburgh has more Super Bowl wins in the last 15 seasons than Washington has playoff wins.

There really is no reason to believe Washington should be competitive in this game. But, perception doesn’t always equal reality. So let’s take a look at this week’s Washington Football Team reality checks.
