Final Thoughts

Mock drafts will change considerably in the coming months.  The number of underclassmen declaring for the draft can push current early-round prospects to the middle rounds.  Underclassmen who are expected to enter the draft could change their minds next winter and spend another year in school.

Injuries play a role as well.  Early round prospects can see their stock drop a bit due to an unfortunate injury.  The severity of any injury could determine how far a prospect may fall in the draft.

Inaccurate analysis or over-hyping a player can drop their expected draft status as well.  This dynamic happens each year and most analysts will be incorrect when evaluating such athletes.  Also, some teams overrate players each year and these athletes will be chosen much earlier than expected.

With all of these variations listed here, the mock drafts will obviously change in the coming months.  This is just the latest snapshot for today and where Washington will choose in the draft could be vastly different next April.
