It’s a time-honored tradition when a victorious football team celebrates a triumph by handing out game balls to deserving players. The Washington Football Team had four such players on Thanksgiving Day.

The Thanksgiving meal and leftovers tasted a lot better after a solid game from the Washington Football Team against their division foes – the Dallas Cowboys.  A close game became a blowout in the final quarter, but Washington maintained control throughout most of the contest.

The complexion of Thursday’s game suddenly changed when the Cowboys lost their starting offensive tackles to injury on the very first series. Dallas put up a spirited fight under the circumstances, but Washington’s talented defensive line began to prevail and put the game out of reach in the end.

Today, we take the time to award our very own game balls to four players (two offensive and two defensive) as the Riggo’s Rag vault is opened for a few days of celebration once again.  Several Washington Football Team players are very deserving, but we must limit these accolades to just four athletes due to time and space constraints.  It’s time to take a look at the four awards for Thursday’s game against the Cowboys.
