3. The Reality Is, Terry McLaurin still isn’t getting enough targets.

Terry McLaurin should be getting more targets and touches. He was only targeted nine times against Detroit. He finally did get a carry on a jet sweep, but a total of 10 attempts to get McLaurin the ball is just not sufficient, especially when the team had 88 offensive plays.

Scott Turner has to manufacture more deep shots and more volume for Terry McLaurin. The gap between McLaurin and the next best weapon on this offense is immense. Regardless of who you think is that No. 2 weapon, McLaurin should not be getting out-targeted by McKissic or Gibson. He just shouldn’t.

I have been championing the #FeedTerry movement since the start of his rookie season, and I will continue to do so until he’s consistently out-touching every other weapon on the team.

My Prediction: McLaurin will demand more touches this week, as his mentality will be to make up for his costly fumble last week. He will be targeted 12 times and get three carries. Expect a line of 10 catches for 118 yards and one TD, plus 27 rushing yards.
