Five bold predictions for the Washington Football Team in Week 11.

The Washington Football Team is getting ready to take on the Cincinnati Bengals in an intriguing Week 11 matchup. The headline for this game will be the matchup of the top two picks in the 2020 NFL Draft, Joe Burrow and Chase Young, but that’s not the only thing at stake here.

Though Washington almost certainly isn’t going to win the NFC East, they do remain in contention for the top spot. If they beat the Bengals, they can gain ground on the Giants (bye) and the Eagles should they lose to the Browns. So, that’s an important aspect for Washington here.

Additionally, Alex Smith is starting once again and the former No. 1 overall pick from 15 years ago will take on the most recent No. 1 overall pick in Burrow. That’s a piece of history and it shows the work that Smith put in to go from a bust to a solid starter over the course of his career.

And should Smith lead Washington to a win here, it would be a feather in his cap, especially after his improbable return from 17 surgeries to become a starter again.

This game should be an exciting and entertaining one. Hopefully, Washington can fight hard and make a game of it and if they avoid a slow start, they should. Here are some bold predictions for the contest as Week 11 of the NFL season draws nearer.
