Previewing Washington Football Team vs. Bengals Week 11.

This was supposed to be one of the marquee games down the stretch for the Washington Football Team. It was going to be a battle between Joe Burrow and Dwayne Haskins, who had beaten the 2020 No. 1 pick for the starting job at Ohio State and caused Burrow to transfer to LSU where he led the Tigers to a 15-0 record and a national championship.

Instead, the game looks a bit different. Haskins was benched after Week 4 and has yet to play since. So, it will be Alex Smith taking on Joe Burrow in a matchup of No. 1 overall picks separated by 15 years.

This game against the Bengals will certainly be a good one. The Bengals have a strong offense but they have one weakness that Washington should be able to take advantage of. And on the offensive side of the ball, Smith has been playing very well for Washington and it will be interesting to see if he can keep that going.

The loser of this game will also end up with the better draft positioning for now and while fans may like to see Washington end up with a top pick, they are still, somehow, in the NFC East race despite a miserable 2-7 record. Ron Rivera’s squad will certainly do what they can to win and get back toward the top of that division.

With that said, here’s an in-depth look at Washington’s game against the Bengals and the likely result for the team.
