Here are the key plays from the Washington Football Team’s loss to the Lions.

It looked like a blowout. Then it looked like overtime. Finally, like far too much of the 2020 season, it ended up being another disappointing loss for the Washington Football Team.

The Detroit Lions are not very good football. But they proved in Week 10 that they are a few steps, and three points ahead of Washington after the Lions 30-27 victory.

For the second straight week, WFT came out slow and mistake-prone. They moved the ball early between the 20s but collapsed as they neared scoring position.  The highly-rated defense was dominated for the second straight week by a subpar offense – this week, playing without their best receiver.

A good special teams play (Danny Johnson’s kick-off return to midfield), was negated by a bad special teams play (Dustin Hopkins’ missed 43-yard field goal).

Here is a recap of the game in 20 key plays.
