WRs Washington Football Team could trade for at the NFL trade deadline.

The NFL trade deadline is rapidly approaching and on Tuesday, the league could see some deals go down. The Washington Football Team is uniquely positioned to be both a potential buyer, as they are involved in the race for the NFC East crown, and as a seller, as they sit at only 2-5 on the year.

If Washington does end up being a buyer, they will likely be targeting help at a few positions of need. Notably, the receiver position sticks out as a place where they could add some talent.

Washington could go in a couple of different directions at receiver. They could try to get aggressive and trade for a true, top-tier starter on the outside to find a long-term complement to Terry McLaurin. They also could look to buy low on a player to use either as a stopgap at the position this year or add a young player to challenge for a role in the receiving corps for years to come.

If Washington were to make a move, it would probably be more of the buy-low variety. But still, nothing can be ruled out as the team continues to rebuild under Ron Rivera.

Here’s a look at some of the wide receivers across the NFL that may be available for Washington in the coming days should they decide to target some receiver help via trade.
