Round 2

The WFT makes a trade and moves down to the lower half of this round.  In the process, they add third and fourth-round selections.

Brevin Jordan, TE, Miami – 6-4, 245

Jordan is an overlooked prospect at tight end in the 2021 draft.  Kyle Pitts of Florida and Pat Freiermuth of Penn State command a lot of attention, but Jordan is under the radar in most mocks.

More from Commanders Draft News

This Miami Hurricane is a solid receiver and he is able to produce big plays on a regular basis.  In fact, he makes them seem quite routine.  Jordan is very likely to enter the 2021 draft and his impact in the NFL should be immediate and long-lasting.

With his prototypical size, explosive abilities, and supreme athleticism, Jordan figures to start from day one.  He has an uncanny ability to gain yardage after most catches, often 10 yards or more.  Jordan will help an offense to keep the chains moving on every drive.  His motor is relentless.  His determination is unmatched.  His route running is superb.  Jordan is a tremendous talent who never stops.

The only negative for Brevin Jordan is his blocking, but that is a case of grasping at straws to be honest.  Jordan is a decent blocking tight end and he is willing to get better.  Adjusting to the level of play for Jordan will require a full offseason and one or two games.  Yes, he is a quick learner and will fill a huge position of need for the WFT.
