Seven weeks in, it’s time for a self-evaluation of some of our offseason predictions for Washington Football Team players.

The bye week is a pretty common time to dole out midseason grades. Slap a letter on the offense or the defense or the coaches. Dive in deeper and go position group by position group or even player by player. I’m sure you’ll see a lot of well-argued think pieces along these lines.

I could do it. I used to be a teacher. I know how to grade. But I figured that before I start whittling away at the Weses or polishing up the hyphens in Gandy-Golden and Pierre-Louis, it was only fair that I perform a little bit of self-evaluation.

Here are two dozen Washington Football Team players. I hit on half, whiffed on the other half. But, as of now, I’m still up there swinging away.
