Final Thoughts

The bye week will be an enjoyable fourteen days for fans of the Washington Football Team.  The team played their best game of the season before the break and they are now a half-game out of first place in the NFC East.  The positives were numerous and the negatives still need attention, but it sure was nice to see fewer mistakes against the Cowboys.

Obviously, there will be no “Five and Five” next week, but it will return after the Giants game.  The hope is that there will be many positives to talk about in two weeks.  Washington still has some growing pains to experience this season and the rebuilding process is still in the early phases.  The fans need to realize that the process will continue to produce highs and lows, but it sure is nice to be on a higher plane during the bye.

We need to add another positive during the bye.  Head Coach Ron Rivera completed his final cancer treatment on Monday and it was emotional.  We wish Coach Rivera and his family the best going forward and hope he remains cancer-free for the rest of his life.  Ron Rivera – Our Coach.

We’ll return in two weeks following the Giants game for five more positives and negatives, so stay with us as the season resumes at that time.
