Highs and lows from the Washington Football Team’s win over the Cowboys.

After a tough division loss to the Giants last week, Washington needed to gain some momentum before the bye week to keep any semblance of playoff hope alive. They did that and more against the Cowboys, winning 25-3, in a game that never felt close.

Who would have thought a game against the Cowboys would be a cure for all of Washington’s woes? With the win, Washington’s first against Dallas since 2018, the team pulled within half a game of first place in the NFC East.

Given that Washington owns the tiebreak over the Eagles, the win puts the team in a good position within the division, with multiple winnable games coming up. The combined record of Washington’s four opponents after the bye week is 7-19-1 (.278 winning percentage).

Let’s get to some of the highs and lows from Sunday’s battle with the Cowboys.
