Washington Football Team: Three positives to take into the bye week

Closing Thoughts

Despite the dismal record for Washington, they enter the bye week with a lot to be positive about. They have elite talent to build around, with others on the roster looking poised to become elite.

The division is putrid, giving a young team meaningful games to get better in. And for a second year in a row it seems like the team has hit on its third round draft pick.

The Washington Football Team still has a ways to go. There are holes to fill on the roster. A new signal-caller will probably be needed next year. The coach is still battling cancer and Washington Post exposés release monthly it seems now.

There are still problems within the organization, no denying that. However, there are definitely some positives to glean from the first seven games.

There are signs that soon the Washington Football Team will be all about football on the field. Not about mock drafts, tanking for a player, and off-the-field issues. There are signs of a better future and a light at the end of a long, dark tunnel.
