Washington Football Team players deserving of game balls vs. Cowboys

The Washington Football Team players are deserving of game balls for their performance against the Cowboys in Week 7.

We finally return to handing out game balls after the Washington Football Team celebrated a one-sided victory over the Dallas Cowboys, but there is an extra surprise for this week.

Sunday afternoon was very kind to the WFT after they snapped a five-game losing streak and put themselves right in the middle of a heated division race.  The game was never in doubt as the Burgundy and Gold cruised to a 25-3 thrashing of the Cowboys.

Washington is now a half-game out of first place and with the bye week upon us, the team will have a chance to relish this victory and heal up from any nagging injuries.

It is now time to award our own game balls and it has been quite a while since we have been able to distribute these awards.  The game balls have been gathering dust in the Riggo’s Rag vault for several weeks, but they are dust-free today.  That makes today’s surprise extra special.

We are going to award four game balls on offense and four game balls on defense.  That may seem like an excessive amount, but we’re making up for the times that we have handed out the pitiful “clunkers” distinction.  Frankly, that was getting tiresome, so let’s take advantage of this moment to award four game balls times two.
