Here are some players the Washington Football Team could trade before the 2020 trade deadline.

In any normal year, the Washington Football Team would be considered potential sellers with the 2020 trade deadline approaching. They are sitting at 1-5 and are in the middle of a rebuild that should take a couple of years to execute.

However, because of the state of the NFC East, the team is still in the running for the divisional title. They are, by no means, likely to win it, but as long as there’s a chance to reach the top of the division, they will have a shot to make the playoffs, as strange as that sounds.

Sunday’s Week 7 game against the Dallas Cowboys will be key in helping decide whether or not Washington actually has a shot in the division. If they beat the Cowboys, they will be among the three two-win teams in the division. If they lose, they will likely be battling the Giants in an attempt to avoid the division’s cellar.

That also makes the Week 7 game key in helping decide if Washington is going to be a seller at the trade deadline. While the team doesn’t have a lot of great trade bait, they have a few pieces that could help contending teams either build up depth or add solid starters at positions of weakness. Most of their talent comes on defense, but they also have at least one notable name on the block on the offensive side of the ball.

With that said, here’s a look at the players that Washington could look to deal if they do become sellers ahead of the trade deadline.
