The Washington Football Team is taking on the Dallas Cowboys in Week 7. Here are five players to watch in that contest.

Six games into the season, it was expected that the Washington Football Team wouldn’t be a great team. They are sporting a 1-5 record and have dropped five straight.

However, the expectations for the Dallas Cowboys were a lot higher. Though some saw through their terrific offense to their weak defense, the expectation was that they would still be one of the better teams in the NFC East and maybe even the NFC. Instead, they have sputtered to a 2-4 record and they’re lucky to even have two wins, as one was an improbable victory over the Atlanta Falcons.

Now, these two arch-rivals are squaring off in Week 7. This game will be important for both teams. For the Cowboys, a win will guarantee that they stay in the race for the top spot in the NFC East. For Washington, a win over their rivals could derail Dallas’ season and it would be a confidence boost for them as well.

This should be a hard-fought battle and it will be there for the taking for both teams. But if Washington wants to win this game, they’re going to have to get production from these top players and take advantage of the weaknesses of an uninspiring Cowboys squad.
