Final Thoughts

The loss this week is a tough pill to swallow, but the positives were there and there is so much to build on.  Fans need to understand that this rebuild is going to be painful at times, but being supportive will go a long way to helping this team stay with the long term goals and objectives.

When you fully abstract the rebuild that is before the WFT, the fans must realize that this is just the beginning.  Three years from now, it should look far different than the unfinished product that we see now.

There will be more heartbreaking losses and blowouts, but such games will also become the exception and not the norm.  The positives for this week are difficult to recognize after such a deflating loss.  We can talk about building character and looking for any silver linings, but the negatives can’t be ignored either.

We need to trust this coaching staff, front office, and the players who know and understand what’s at stake here.

Next. Stock up, stock down for Washington after Week 6. dark

We’ll return next week following the Cowboys game for five more positives and negatives, so stay with us as we point to the future.
