No. 2 – Kyle Allen throws for 250 yards

Ever since Dwayne Haskins was shockingly benched at the start of the week, people have been trying to make sense of the decision, as well as trying to figure out what happens now.

In the short run, the answer is simple: Kyle Allen will be the starter, and while he only proved himself to be a capable spot-starter in his 2019 action, it’s unclear if the 24-year old has any long-term potential for the Washington Football Team.

With that being said, Allen does have familiarity in Washington’s offensive scheme, and as volatile as he can be on the field, he’ll still probably provide an overall higher floor than Dwayne Haskins, who showed a complete inability to execute at times.

The execution itself will improve under Allen, which will at least help the offense gain some consistency. To that point, Allen should put solid yardage production on the stat sheet, especially given that Washington should still be playing from behind for a good chunk of this one.
